Pink-Grey Wine - Domaine Virant

     Smell of apples and pears, slightly spicy. The palate is lively, slightly sweet. It reveals aromas of yellow fruits, pears, coconuts but also vanilla.

Château Virant is located on the Hillside of of Aix en Provence, and enjoys thus, the “designation of origin” (AOP).

     Characterized by a clay-limestone soil, the terroir of the property is subject to the uninterrupted and strong Mistral, high temperatures and wide sunshine. Soils are dried out by these particular climatic conditions, which favors the development of grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, or Ugni Blanc.

     At Château Virant, we talk about “knowledge” but with multiple interpretations of it. Each generation brings its own batch of innovations, techniques, and different visions. It is an enrichment at all times, at all stages of the process.
