Pitta bread is a yeast-leavened round flatbreads baked from wheat flour, common in the Mediterranean and Middle East.
Originally Cypriot, pitta bread has a large pocket to place complementing foods in, usually lamb or other meats, and accompanied with salads.
Available in White or Wholemeal flavour.
