PREMIUM LINDEN HONEY

Linden honey is our alternative to manuka honey - its strong antibiotic effect is good for curing colds, sore throat and coughing. It is also recommended to overcome nervousness, restlessness and insomnia. Its choline content can inhibit atherosclerosis and fat deposition. The colour of linden honey varies from light yellow to amber having a characteristic linden fragrance with a slightly bittersweet, lemony aftertaste.  Perfect with lemon sherbet or herbal teas, and also with camembert and brie. You can mix into natural yoghurt to allow its range of flavours to flourish, or drizzle over a fruit salad for a delightful citrussy twist. The flowers of linden tree are essential nutrition for the bees in the middsummer, their all-pervading, magical scent attracts them irresistibly, and later they can collect honeydew from the leaves of the linden tree.
