DE BERNARD Prosecco DOC Rosé Brut
Geographic area: Province of Treviso.Grapes: Glera 90%, Pinot Noir 10%.Harvest: September.Vinification: The Glera grapes are vinified “in white” i.e. no skin contact at a temperature of 18 °C. The Pinot Noir grapes are vinified as a red wine at a temperature of 25 °C, in contact with the skins for approximately 4–5 days. The two base wines are then blended for the second fermentation and a slow refermentation in large sealed vessels at 14–15 °C, followed by ageing on the lees for at least 2 months.Tasting notes: It has a refined, pale pink hue and a fine, elegant perlage. On the nose, it offers fresh aromas of small red berries, such as wild strawberries and raspberries, enhanced by delicate floral notes of rose and wisteria. On the palate, it is dry, fresh and savoury, with a vibrant and well-balanced mouthfeel.Pressure: 5.5 atm.Sugar residue: 6 g/l.Alcohol by volume: 11,0 % vol.Serving temperature: we recommend serving this sparkling wine at a temperature between 5–7°C, uncorking the bottle just before consumption.Food pairings: as an aperitif, throughout meals with light foods.
