Surrounded by woods and forests, in 16th century the Quinta do Gradil estate was inhabited by partridges, hares, foxes and deer. This range, which express the purity of each grape variety, pays tribute to the biodiversity that surrounds the vineyards and reasserts our commitment to the environment.
GRAPE VARIETIES 100% Alvarinho.
WINEMAKING & AGEING 50% fermented and aged for 1 year in new and used French oak barrels with total lees, and the remaining 50% aged in stainless steel with 100% of the lees, resting for 6 months in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES Aromas of orange peel, grapefruit, spices, nutmeg and buttery notes from the wood. On the palate, a wine with a lot of volume, unctuous, good acidity and persistent, with a finish featuring smoky notes from barrel afing.
