Red Wine - Château Beauferan

     Dark dress. The fruit slightly dominates. The tannins are round, giving this wine a powerful, complex and long mouth with hints of red fruits, spices, vanilla and caramel.    

     The dominant fruity flavor allows a varied accord ranging from red meat and game to dishes in sauce.

Located in the Aix en Provence protected area, CHATEAU BEAUFERAN is a privileged hillside of 144 hectares where peace and beauty reign.

Pines, oaks and scrubland surround the 65 hectares of vineyards where noble grapes varieties and specific terroirs offer powerful and complex wines.

     The engagement of the CHEYLAN Family (owners of Chateau VIRANT), through their work, know-how, and passion, allow the wines of Château Beauferan to reveal the magic of the place.

     Built in the nineteenth century by a rich owner, the place became a vineyard in the early twentieth century. Then the owners succeeded one another without any real commitment. Released for sale, the CHEYLAN family set their sights on this valley in 2014. A new story begins for the castle.
