Red Wine - Cuvée AOP Red - Château Virant

     Dark color, spicy nose. Smooth on the palate but with intense aromas. The tannins are round but present and give this wine a structure and a powerful, complex mouth with a good length.

Château Virant is located on the Hillside of of Aix en Provence, and enjoys thus, the “designation of origin” (AOP).

     Characterized by a clay-limestone soil, the terroir of the property is subject to the uninterrupted and strong Mistral, high temperatures and wide sunshine. Soils are dried out by these particular climatic conditions, which favors the development of grape varieties such as Syrah, Grenache, or Ugni Blanc.

     At Château Virant, we talk about “knowledge” but with multiple interpretations of it. Each generation brings its own batch of innovations, techniques, and different visions. It is an enrichment at all times, at all stages of the process.
