Seven Sins - Beer

The beers bear the Latin names of the seven cardinal sins and are brewed so as to ensure that the ingredients and flavours perfectly express the eponymous sin. The Zeven Zonden beers bear all the hallmarks of the rich Belgian beer-making tradition, but they are clearly imbued with pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath and sloth, using carefully selected organic ingredients. Inspired by Hugel: After studying pharmaceutical and biological techniques and medical laboratory technology, Koen Hugelier worked at Ghent University on various scientific research projects for nearly ten years. In 2009 he became a qualified zythologist, which is when he was bitten by the brewing bug.
