Slovenian “Ramsteak“ (rump steak)
€ Core price
In northern Slovenia, due to the abundance of mushrooms found in the region’s large forests, rump steak is cooked in a rather unconventional way: it is stewed, together with onions, garlic and mushrooms. Similar cooking methods are used throughout the entire region of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire. For example, the tenderloin in Austria and the “parolt felsalszelet”
(boiled tenderloin cuts) in Hungary.
