Lemon Calamansi classified as one of the most potent antioxidants in nine Citrus varieties. It may be attributed to the presence of bioactive compounds such as flavonoids in the peel. Lemon Calamansi contains a large quantity of 30, 50 -di-C-b-glucopyranosylphloretin (DGPP) in its peel, juice sac, and leaves. The flavonoid composition is quite different from another Citrus.
