Swedish Stories Connaisseur (IPA)

This is the story of an IPA from Sweden's historical university town Uppsala. The simple malt base sets the stage for the hops that dominate bitterness, taste and aroma. Taste and aroma from tropical fruits and citrus tones comes from the hop varieties Citra and Mosaic, which interact with Simcoe's typical taste of pine needles and blood orange. About Uppsala Brygghus:

When the Uppsala brewery Slottskällan was sold and moved in 2017, the head brewer and a couple of entrepreneurs decided to take over the facilities and brew according to their own passion. Uppsala Brygghus was born.

With a PHD in biochemistry and a particular interest in yeast, Maarten works his magic on taste and quality.
