Tatalia Heathcote Shiraz
The silicified Cambrian shale soil is renowned for producing dark concentrated wines with an intense purple hue. The dry grown fruit gives this wine rich blackcurrant, black cherry and pepper spice characteristics that are supported by the elegant vanilla and charred oak from 15 months spent in French Oak Hogs Head Barrels. Time in barrel has given a harmonious balance of black fruits, black olives and spice that are encased by lush velvety tannins. This is a wine that can be enjoyed in its youth or one that will reward your patience in the cellar for up to 10 years.
