T E R R O I R : The Aglianico del Vulture DOC denomination legally refers to an area in the North of the Basilicata Region. A Mediterranean microclimate and a natural balance of temperature changes characterizes this terroir, conferring remarkable fertility to calcareous and clay- loam soils. This land, rich in potassium, is ideal for vines and olives. W I N E : Ruby-purple with a notable thickness on the glass. Expressive aromas of blackberry and blueberry jam, leather, and most notably, oak. Palate is driven by an interesting mixture of blackberry and red currant, with notes of rose, walnut, pine and smoke.
