Toffees / Chewy candies

Toffees are chewable candies. With sugar on base of glucose syrup and sugar. Sugarfree on the base of isomalt, maltitol or sorbitol and the use of different sweeteners. Used for dietary supplements and medical ingredients (active/exipients). The advantage is that the medical ingredient is absorbed quickly by the body. The dosage level of active ingredients in toffees can be very high and a broad variety of raw materials can be used. Furthermore toffees are favoured by children.
