An introverted aromatic beauty emerges in this Kabinett of many colors. Smoky and stony with equal parts citrus, flintstone and fresh mint leaves. Initially shy on the palate, the flavors ping the tongue like fireflies on a summer night. Given time, a creamy, focused mosaic of ripe fruit and spice emerges. Capable of incredible surprises with a dash of flowers thrown in for good measure. Long, elegant finish. Serving Suggestions: The wine’s delicate structure will shine when paired with panko-breaded fish fillets, smoked trout or sushi, or vegetable tempura; the earthiness of French-lentil salad or the cooling spice of Japanese-styled cucumbers.
