The same smoky, sassy beauty of the Altenberg Kabinett is captured here in the concentrated Spätlese from the same vineyard. Playful dried apricots, and ripe vineyard peaches in all their summer glory, loads of crunchy yellow fruit mingle with a touch of red fruit. A wine of verve and movement, with the nimble energy of a dancer swathed in layers of flowing, silken sweetness. Beautiful balance of power and cool delicacy with salty, mineral depths, and the mouthwatering appeal of grapefruit pith and orange juice on the finish.

Serving Suggestion: A minimalistic pairing works best, with a classic panna cotta, or traditional gelato.
