Aass Brewery-Norway
Aass Brewery is the oldest brewery in Norway, established in 1834. The factory is 100% owned by the family and managed by the 5th generation.
We are a producer of premium quality beer. Through continous investment in responsible production with lower carbon footprint and environmental impact, we strive for ever more sustainable production. Throghout the last decade, significant reductions in energy consumption, water usage per unit produced, spillage and sanitation products are contributing to the factory being a responsible provider of products in the future.
The majority of the beers are brewed in accordance with the Bavarian Purity law of 1516. Water is sourced from deep down the forest lake named Glitre – Meaning «sparkle» in Norwegian. Malts are primarily grown in Scandinavian countries.
Norway is known for its viking heritage, the wild nature, pure fjords, glaciers, northern light and rough climate. In addition the country is a pioneer in green initatives, experiences low corruption, good labour working conditions and is technologically advanced.
