The company was founded 45 years ago in the heart of Thessaloniki and Masoutis's headquarters is located in Thessaloniki, Greece.

It has 369 stores: 332 super markets, 15 GRAND Masoutis, 1 green store, 21 Cash & Carry stores. It also provide an online store.

Masoutis employs over 9,000 workers and by the end of 2022, it is expected to have a team of over 10,000 employees.

 In 2020, its turnover amounted to €882.44 million compared to €829.81 million in 2019.

In 2021, it was awarded the “Private Label, for the goat cheese "Masoutis from our place" .

It offers various products under different categories such as:

• Savory grocery: macaroni, rice, sandwich, etc. 
• Sweet grocery: biscuits, cookies, cakes, etc.
• Frozen: ice cream, fish, meat, etc.
• Fresh and chilled: Fruits, vegetables, 
• Dairy: Milk, butter, cheese, etc.
• Drinks: Soft drinks, juice, water, etc.
• Household: Detergents, fabric softeners, cleaning products, etc.
• Personal care: facial care, hair care, body care, etc.
• Wine and spirits: Wine, beer, liqueurs, etc.

Currently, there are over 1200 private label product codes in all categories and some of its products are: 

• “Masoutis from our place”: tomato juice, greek yogurt, long grain rice, etc.
• “Bio choices”: organic rice wafers, organic eggs, organic extra virgin olive oil, etc. 

It also offers special products under the category of healthy such as: sugar free healthy chocolate, gluten free brown rice wafers, chestnut sugar, etc.

When it comes to supporting the community, the business is collaborating with the Association of Parents with Multiple Children of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki "I MERIMNA" by providing the basic food necessities with their own products.
