Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society (ADCOOPS) is a chain of retail businesses established in 1980. It's headquarter is in the United Arab Emirates.

ADCOOPS operates under different formats, with 45 hypermarkets, supermarkets, convenience stores, and 7 shopping malls across the United Arab Emirates. The company serves customers in the UAE, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Syria, etc. 

With a selling area of 120 000 m2, the firm accounts for 45 stores, achieving a projected sales growth of 12%. ADCOOPS  allied with Spar International in 2010, launching Spar UAE, which became the first Spar in the Middle East.

Currently, ADCOOPS employs 2300 people of 51 nationalities and achieved a turnover of €23.1 million.

The products categories include:

• Savory Grocery: herbs, spices, rice, pasta, pet food, oils, soups, etc. 
• Sweet Grocery: ambient desserts, sweet canned foods, biscuits, etc. 
• Frozen Food: fish & seafood, starters, fruits & vegetables, ready-meals, bakery, etc.
• Chilled & Fresh Food: meat, fruits, vegetables, etc.
• Dairy: cheese, milk, cream, butter, eggs
• Personal Care: oral care, face care, makeup, skincare, etc.
• Household: laundry care and many more

ADCOOPS has developed its own brands of products which include (but not limited to):

• Ocean Wave: a range of canned and frozen seafood
• Fresca: a brand of food and non-food items
• Sondos: a range of food and non-food items 

The company fulfills the quality standards, following certifications such as HACCP, ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000:2005. ADCOOPS also complies to all requirements of Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Management System.

Concerning its suppliers, ADCOOPS is looking for distributors providing products in the household and personal care categories such as hand wash and cosmetics. In addition, they must comply with relevant certification according to products . 

The firm aims to create 176 stores in total by 2022, covering regions like Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and Northern Emirates. Abu Dhabi Coop will also have a new distribution center and the new stores will be in trendy designs including specialty areas (organic food hall, International food section, health & wellness section).
