Aecovi, of course, is a company and, as such, its final purpose is to commercialize what its partners produce, but without ever losing sight of field controls, environmentally friendly techniques and supporting grape growers on a day-to-day basis, which are not means, but purposes themselves and part of the same activity developed by the company.
In 2008, Aecovi decided to develop its own brand of wines, vinegars and dressings and enter the market to compete as another winery. From that moment, it set forth, as a differentiating work line, the combination of good grape-growing practices with modern wine production contributed by a young, dynamic and of course, well-trained team. But it's not just a declaration of intentions placed on the back label of a bottle or an advertising brochure, since this team alone is responsible for implementing the Integrated Production system throughout all the co-operatives' vineyards - and at even some wineries with which it collaborates. It is committed to sustainability by employing environmentally friendly practices and products.
Grapes with the 'Integrated Fruit Production' certification is not the only mention of quality of the Aecovi products given that the company also has, just like the other four co-operatives that form part of the company, the ISO 9001 certification; the 'Certified Quality' distinction granted by the Andalusian Government, in addition to, of course, the Denomination of Origin of its wines and vinegars: Jerez-Xérès-Sherry, Manzanilla-Sanlúcar de Barrameda and Vinegar of Jerez. White and red varieties belong to the quality denomination Tierra de Cádiz (Land of Cádiz).
