AGRIBOSCO CONSORZIO AGROBIOLOGICO

Agribosco srl is an agribusiness company that purchases the harvested crops grown by the farmer/members of the Consortium Agrobiologico Agribosco. We then process them into finished and semi-finished food products. Once the crops are harvested, they are stored and processed in one of two of our plants located in Sigillo (Perugia), a small Umbrian town within the boundaries of the Parco Naturale del Monte Cucco. One of our plants (30,000 square feet) - is dedicated to the storage, selection, hulling, milling, and packaging of cereals, legumes and flours. It is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery in order to guarantee the highest standards of quality and productivity. This machinery is capable of processing any kind of cereal or legume as wells as various pharmaceutical plants. Milling is performed using a millstone, as in centuries past, which "gently" mills the flours in order to maintain all of the properties of the grain...from the protein-rich aleurone (the seed coat) to the nucleus (the central part of the grain).
