Alcalá Oliva is a family-run business established for olive groves cultivation and olive oil production and it is in Jaén, where more than 20% of the olive oil world production is concentrated. Since the very beginning of our activity, our objective is to bring the authenticity and benefits of this extraordinary product closer to the consumer, in an honest and transparent way. We were pioneers and we are specialists in the manufacture of our own single-serve – MINIOLIVA -which has become our distinctive sign.

Our company has kept innovating for more than 20 years now with the purpose of making possible for everyone to enjoy a high-quality extra virgin olive oil along with a wide variety of dressings, such as vinegars, vinaigrettes, and natural flavoured oils.

Reduce Replace/Subtitute Recycle

At Alcalá Oliva we are aware of the environmental problems that exist today and the need for a paradigm shift. We assume it with responsibility and with the necessary contribution that this entails. It is critical for us to find a solution so that the material of our single-dose is as sustainable as possible, but at the same time maintains the organoleptic properties of the product and allow to continue enjoying it in those moments of consumption in which the "single use" format is the most convenient one. We have started working on various lines of research in close collaboration with suppliers and technology centers, betting on the concept of "circular economy" and on research on degradable and compostable biopolymers. The 4 objectives of our sustainability policy are based on the following levers for change: 1) Use of plastics that contain 70% recycled plastic 2) Use of 100% recyclable plastics 3) Substitution of (secondary) plastic containers for cardboard derived from responsible forest management. 4) Development of new compostable and / or biodegradable materials. We strongly believe that everyone, whatever their position and size is, has a duty to contribute to the safeguarding of this planet, not only for the future, but also for the present.
