Established by Alex and Lee George in 1931, Alex Lee is an American retailer and wholesaler in the US market. Its headquarters is based in North Carolina, United States. The company operates various subsidiaries such as Merchants Distributors, Lowes Foods and KJ’s Market. 

Moreover, Alex Lee operates approximately 150 Lowes Foods stores and 34 KJ’s market stores. 

In the financial year 2021, Alex Lee achieved a turnover of €3.1 billion and currently employs more than 16,000 people.
