Arnaud De Villeneuve

The Salses winery was set up in 1909 close to the Salses fortress. It mainly produced red wines. In 1929 to enable production of white wines and sweet wines a new winery was built, that of St Colombe. Their merger some decades later established L’Union des Vins Fins de Salses– the Union of Salses Fine Wines. It was on their skills of producing Vins Doux Naturels that their reputation would be built. The winery of Saint Laurent de la Salanque joined the Union in 1981. It had been founded in 1924 developed further in 1930 and again in 1950 to meet the growing production requirements of the vineyard.
