Founded in 1762 and based in Norway, Hadeland Glassverk is recognised as the country’s oldest industrial company with continuous operation. Currently, the company belongs to Atle Brynestad and it started production of bottles, pharmacist glass, medicine glass and glass for household use in 1765. From 1852, Hadeland Glassverk expanded its range to include wine glasses, bowls, barrels, flower glasses and vases.
The enterprise also comprises a glass museum which is the largest one in the scandinavian. Furthermore, a Glass Hut is also open to the public where they can make their own honey pot or drinking glass.
Currently, Hadeland Glassverk has 9 shops and 1 factory outlet.
