Balbiino

Founded in 1995, AS Balbiino is one of Estonia’s biggest ice cream manufacturers. Owned by NG Invest, the company is 100% based on Estonian capital.

The emphasis of Balbiino product portfolio is on classic dairy ice cream made from real, fresh cream and natural ingredients and flavors, without the use of preservatives. Also in our selection one can find lactose free-, frozen yogurt-, sorbet- and smoothie ice-creams.

Purity and tastiness are important to us. Balbiino makes its ice cream from natural ingredients and does not add any preservatives or unhealthy colours such as azo dyes or artificial additives. Balbiino products are always developed with healthiness in mind and thus we show a preference for natural ingredients such as fruit preserves, nuts and raisins. Balbiino currently has about 100 different ice cream products. This selection includes family ice cream, cup, cone and stick ice cream, ice pops and ice cream multi-packs.

Balbiino’s products, product handling processes and services are high-quality and conform to the stringent requirements set for the food processing industry. Balbiino is the only Estonian ice cream manufacturer to receive the international BRC (British Retail Consortium) food safety and quality management certificate. BRC certification covers Balbiino’s production of ice cream and food-grade ice and the wholesale trade and warehousing of refrigerated and frozen products. The certificate guarantees both the seller and consumer that the goods they purchase are of a stable quality.
