Balistreri Anchovies

Balistreri is since 2017 the Italian market leader in Italy for anchovies’ fillets (1st player in term of value). We are fishing exclusively in Sicily and Spain and processing anchovies (spec. Engraulis encrasicolus) in Italy. Our Spanish fish (Cantabrian) is certified MSC.

Our leading product worldwide is our “triangles” sold in a 4kg tin, available in 5 flavors and usually exposed in store on a very attractive stand display and available in all major retailers chains.

We are known for our innovative approach and solutions, for our high quality services but among all for the quality of our products due to several factors: quality of fish itself, processing from fresh, aging time, cleaning done by and many others.

Our lines covers all foodservice and retail channel needs: salted anchovies (from 0 to 5 bars), filet under olive oil, under sunflower, plain and flavored,  whole or broke, anchovies paste and colatura. Products available in jars, in tin, in plastic, in bucket. 

The company is certified BRC grade A, IFS and KOSHER, as well as FDA, and DIPOA.
