Barkan Wine Cellars are Israel’s leading winery, producing over 15,000,000 bottles annually and are Israel’s largest vintners, with grapes throught the land. We are also Israel’s leading Wine exporter, our wines can be found in over 45 different countries including the U.S.A, Poland, France and Russia. The expansion of vineyards allow us to reach the highest quality of grapes while exploring the Israeli Terroir. With over 2500 acres of vineyards all over Israel, the expansion of vineyards allows us to reach the highest quality of grapes and explore the Israeli terroir through unique series that examine different vineyards, altitudes and varietals.

Vineyard ownership allows us to determine and oversee the entire growing process without the conflict of interests that often occur between the winegrower and the winemaker.

Barkan's winery has won world recognition and is the most awarded Israeli winery in international wine competitions, with hundreds of medals won.

Our winemaking team has been awarded Best Winemaker Team in international competition, 3 years consecutively (Terravino)

In our Winery we have another brand- Segal.

Segal is the pioneer of the Galilee winemaking region, we respect the terroir and the materials. Segal is first and foremost about the grapes, and thus we use minimal intervention in the wine production.

With over 230 years of tradition, our goal is to maintain the authenticity of the grape and to keep the wine as close to nature as possible. - A WILD WINE, without limits, it chooses what to soak from nature, which flavors to absorb. It is rough, independent, and unmanageable.  

Barkan Wine Cellars are a part of the Tempo Beverage group - Israel’s largest brewery which produces the country’s two staple beers: Goldstar and Maccabee. We also manufacture non-alcoholic malt beer and soft drinks.  Tempo’s unique original beers, wines and soft drinks are exported to many countries around the globe.
