BELMARKET is a retail chain company. It was founded in 2007 in Belarus by IFC, a member of the World Bank Group who has signed an agreement with A1 Group, a subsidiary of the Russian consortium Alfa Group, to provide financing to a food retail project named Belmarket.
BELMARKET operates 79 stores throughout Belarus and is focused on the belarusian buyer, supplier and market.
At the beginning of 2018, the company employed more than 3,180 people and its estimated turnover is around €78 million.
