Madeleine bijou
The house bijou traditional biscuit pastry confectionery, founded in 1845. It takes its name from that of its specialty: madeleinettes (small madeleines golden color). The company, family owned, was founded by the great-grandfather Antoine Dubois. In 1970, the company has to modernize and expand. It does this by transferring its premises outside the city, at a place called "The Lakes", which is still its current location. In 1990, automation makes its appearance on the production lines, and the following investments are devoted to the expansion and automation of charging, coke pushing, and coaters. In 1997 all the graphic charter of the company and its logo are renovated with a view to enhancing the diversity of products, while maintaining the strong brand image.
