Established in 1992, Biomonde is a french cooperative of independent traders specialising in the distribution of natural and organic products. Its headquarters is based in Paris, France. The company is a different cooperative group which has independence, diversity and freedom. 

Presently, the business operates 225 stores across the country and an e-commerce platform as well. 

In the financial year 2020, Biomonde achieved a turnover of €240 million and currently employs more than 500 people.

Besides, along with organic products, Biomonde also offers salt-free, sugar-free, gluten-free, lactose free and many other dietary products in its portfolio. 

In addition, Biomonde maintains the highest quality standards as its products are Bio certified. 

Pertaining to its logistics solutions, the company decided to put an end to the activity of the logistics platform and to find a new mass purchasing solution in 2021. 

Moreover, Biomonde partnered with Viseo, a global IT and digital consulting firm to implement an innovative decision-making tool for store managers. 

Biomonde opened a large store in Ferrieres en Brie in 2021 which occupies 850 square metres space on 2 floors and it also has a kitchen and a treatment room to offer workshops. 

Furthermore, in June 2022, the company announced that it will be closing its shop in Quimper (Finistere) in 2022. 

Concerning sustainability, the firm protects the environment by partnering with local producers in order to shorten the supply chain measures.
