Bocon's history started in 1987, processing fresh spinach for the food industry.  With the advent of the IQF technology, the core business has moved to the production of frozen ready meal. 

Today Bocon is recognized as specialist in Italian cuisine, in particular in the production of gnocchi, risotto, cereal salads and gratin.s

Great products need great ingredients and Bocon carefully selects its suppliers. We use authentic Italian ingredients like extra virgin olive oil, local eggs, fresh milk, the best PDO cheeses like Grana Padano, Montasio, Asiago, Gorgonzola.

Bocon's productive flexibility, together with the 30-plus years experience earned in the world of Italian frozen ready meals, has allowed Bocon to invest in the future with the construction of a new facility now 100% operational.

 

The replacement of the existing non recyclable packages with new, more sustainable ones, is currently under way. The more advanced stage has been reached with a line of chilled products whose packaging will be fully recyclable and in some instances even compostable. We plan to complete the transition for our own-brand items by the end of the year, while we are already meeting our customers' s sustainability requirement for PL products.
