Bónus opened its first store in a 400 square metre building at Skútuvog, Iceland on Saturday, April 8, 1989. Bónus is a retail chain of low-price grocery stores and it is owned by Hagar. Its headquarters is found in 3 Skútuvogi, Reykjavík,104, Iceland.
Today, Bónus operates 31 stores across the country, 18 of which are in the capital area and 13 in the larger towns around Iceland
More than 800 employees work at Bónus and its revenue amounts up to €5 million.
