Brazzale

The Brazzale family is Italy's oldest dairy company, producing cheese and butter since 1784. The company is an 8th generation family business. They are one of the founding members of the Grana Padano Consortium in 1954.  The Group employs over 650 people with 6 production plant in Italy, Czech Republic, Brazil and China, 1 sales office in Germany, 20 stores “La Formaggeria” in Czech Republic and 1 store in Shanghai.

The Company exports in over 60 countries delivering chilled and frozen cheese and butter products throughout the 6 continents.

In year 2000, Brazzale family decided to produce their own Hard Cheese “Gran Moravia”,  developing an innovative & sustainable agri-food supply chain.

The result of this revolutionary model can be summarized as follow:

• Higher quality of products thanks to the top quality of Milk
• Sustainability, Animal Welfare, “Water footprint” assessment (Gran Moravia  is  the first cheese in the world to disclose its water footprint, i.e. an indicator of freshwater appropriation for producing it. Water saving reaches 50% compared to conventional values ​​and even 75% compared to Parmigiano Reggiano, as calculated by the University of Milan
• Cost-effectiveness thanks of the Efficiency of the process that is completely controlled by Brazzale.

- Butter,  - "Gran Moravia" Hard cheese (Vegetarian and Halal certified), available in:    Wheel   Portions 100g, 200g, 300g, 700g, 1000g, 2000g, 4000g,    Slices, Grated, Flakes, Julienne and bite-size snacks.  - Fresh and stretched curd cheese such as:  Scamorza white and smoked, Mozzarella in blocks, available in different sizes including slices. - Full range of Provolone dolce, piccante and smoked completely natural without any preservatives, available in different sizes including slices.  - Pressed cheese such as Verena and Asiago DOP available in whole wheel and portioned. We also have a vast assortment of italian cheeses, which has been carefully selected to offer great quality, which complement our range and offer of an exceptional customer service.
