Geraldton Fishermen’s Co-op was established in 1950, and has now become the largest rock lobster (spiny lobster) exporter worldwide.

GFC is 100% fishermen owned, hence we have our exclusive control of the entire supply chain to make sure that our quality stays on the top from source to plate. As an industry leading company, GFC enjoys a renowned reputation for premium Australian lobster under the ‘Brolos’ brand.

Western Australian rock lobster fishery is operated under quota system, and GFC enjoys around 70% market share of Western Rock lobster commercial catch quota. The western rock lobster industry is also the first commercial fishery to be certified by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). We export 365 days, all year round with consistent quality and supply.
