Cavalier is a Belgian family company that has been exclusively developing, producing and distributing chocolate products with no added sugars since 1996 in a sustainable way, whilst constantly being concerned about the health and lifestyle of their consumers.

Cavalier is aimed at chocolate lovers who want to or have to avoid sugars either to enjoy chocolate in a healthier manner, to keep in shape or for medical reasons, but without compromising on taste. Since its beginnings more than ten years ago, Cavalier has built up unique know-how in the preparation of chocolate products with no added sugar. This is why our company can present itself today as a model of quality and taste that pays great attention to health. We have only been able to achieve this position by striving for our long-term vision. After all, Cavalier does not just want to place on the market products of the highest quality, consumers must also be able to derive pleasure from the products and not have to worry about their health. The trust of the consumer, which Cavalier has enjoyed for years, is a major contributor to our success.

By thoroughly selecting the raw materials to be used and only accepting the end product when it meets our own strict quality controls 100%, Cavalier will continue to make further inroads in the future. 

Cavalier is trying to reach a 100% recyclablity level with its paper and card board packaging. For 85% of these packaging types we do succeed in doing this but there are still some challenges to overcome. Towards 2024 we'd like to have our foil wraps fully compostable by investing in new packaging equipment.
