The Confectionery Cerasani is an established company that has over half a century. The quality and reliability, together with a passion for their craft, are the "ingredients" which underpin the philosophy of the family Cerasani.
The story begins in the 50s, when grandfather Attilio Cerasani opens a small wood-burning oven for baking. The bread is in those days the most common food and essential, and in addition to being required to feed his family is an idea to make a living by honest means.
Over the years, the flavors begin to refine and customers become numerous, require increasingly more particular and more tradition-bound "Abruzzo".
Grandfather Attilio then begins to bake the cookies first, first in small quantities that even if unsold, could be consumed in the family and gradually, as the consent of clients in increasing amounts.
He then joined the production of bread, confectionery, in keeping with ancient recipes from Abruzzo. Macaroons, nougat, mostaccioli and especially the "Ferratelle" are the desserts that begin the success story of confectionery Cerasani.
Created by the famous master painter Marcello Hercules, dear family friend, and called by him "Casareccia marsicana". It represents the typical elements of our area: Abruzzo woman's face in the "valley of Fucino" (area where the company is located) with ears of wheat symbolizing the predominantly agricultural area and the main element (flour) for the production of sweets.
The company is thus transformed from a small wood stove in an established and respected throughout the country and internationally.
The selected ingredients, respect for tradition, freshness, goodness are all qualities expressed in the vast production of confectionery Cerasani.
In the new processing plant located in Pescina effettuta is still in the traditional way, by following strict rules of hygiene and scrupulous respect for the consumer who is the bearer of an evolutionary process, which aims to improve even more the quality of products Cerasani.
In the '80s neurosis Cerasani replaces his father as ruler of the company, giving way to a slow and persistent transformation, starting with the creation of the brand, reaching in the 90s to the decision to abandon the production of bread and spend the whole creativity and experience to the production of sweets.
A heartfelt thanks to all the family Cerasani.
