Cidacel is a family owned company built in 1965 in the center of Portugal, near Coimbra. Our core business is producing / bottling Olive Oil and Edible Oils, the localization of the factory was strategically thinking to be in an extreme fertile region and, until fewer years back, the most productive region in Portugal, in terms of Olive Oil. Since the very first beginning, we started to be amongst the top national players, bottling Olive Oil for the well known big retail chains, like SONAE. With the growth of international sales and recognition throught recent years, it was necessary to operate a deep renewal and increase of the current facilities, making it more versatile and prepare to deal with this new demanding international market.
