The art of manufacturing olives has been a part of the Crespo family's way of life for several generations. Believed to be a native of Asia Minor, the story of this ancient tree has been linked from time immemorial to the history of mankind itself. The tree is mentioned for the first time in the book of Genesis, when the dove returns to the ark with an olive branch for Noah, as proof of the end of the flood.
