Coviran

Coviran is a cooperative supermarket chain based in Spain. Coviran was founded in 1961 and nowadays counts around 3034 supermarkets in Spain and Portugal. Coviran counts around 2800 independent retailersas members. 

In 2018, Coviran achieved a turnover of € 538 million and employs 15 653 people currently. 

Coviran offers products in the following categories: 

• Chilled & fresh foods: charcuterie, meat, poultry, etc.

• Dairy: milk, cheese, etc.

• Sweet Grocery: industrial pastries, chocolates, sweet canned foods, etc.

• Savory Grocery: sauces, oil, crisps, chips, etc.

• Drinks: wine, juices, water, soft drinks, etc.

Some of the brands available include Coca Cola, Calve, Maeva, Carbonell, etc. 

Coviran also operates its own brand Coviran which includes (but not limited to) products such as oil, sweet canned food, crisps, etc.

Coviran operates 30 logistic platforms.

Coviran manages the Coviran School of Commerce which offers a wide range of courses which employees also benefit from. 

Coviran also sponsors various charities which work for the welfare of people in need.
