Founded in 1954 by Jacques Dessange, Dessange is a chain of around 1700 beauty salons operating in 45 countries including 400 in France. It specialises in offering beauty services and distributing cosmetic products as well. Dessange is headquartered in Paris.

Tests are carried out to check the effectiveness, stability and reproduction of over 50 natural formulas and 180 active formulas that the firm is currently working on.

Over 20 000 professionals are employed by Dessange and in 2019, the company achieved a turnover of €7.81 million.

Natural items are also available. Moreover, more than 500 active ingredients are used as raw materials by Dessange.

More than 80 suppliers collaborate with Dessange. Brands such as Revlon, L’Oréal Professional, Wella, Schwarzkopf, etc, can be found in the firm’s salons.

The enterprise developed its private label which offers hair color and  goes by the name Phytodess. 

Dessange operates 7 logistic centres including 1 industrial site that carries out development, manufacturing and distribution as well as 6 Coiff’Idis manufacturing plants.

The firm is looking for aluminium, paper, cardboard, wood and recyclable plastics for its packaging.
