Dhul was founded more than 40 years ago thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of a married couple from Granada who owned a small farm.
It all began by coincidence when a surplus egg production led to the production of a very traditional dessert: Flan. Since flan is made with eggs and milk, the chose the name DHUL: D (de) HU (huevo) and L (leche).
All of this, combined with effective business management, has given rise to a great food company which now has an annual turnover of 115 million euros.
Dhul is a recognised specialist in refrigerated products. Not only does the company make refrigerated desserts but it has also developed a line of ice cream and a variety of refrigerated ready-to-eat foods under the Chef Dhul brand, all high quality product based on traditional recipes.
