Based in Italy, the company sells its products in foreign markets across the globe, while bringing innovations to the goods they offer. Moving beyond the production of sugar-coated almonds, the business also manufactures chocolate, the latter representing ¾ of its annual turnover. 

The main foreign markets are Germany, America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and China.

The company has its private label under the name, Papa, which produces goods such as coffee beans, chocolate, and many more. 

Products provided by Dolceamaro are kosher, Bio, BRC and IFS certified. The company also holds the FAIRTRADE certification since 2007.

The firm has invested in a new factory, which is crucial in the expansion of the sphere of control of the agriculture chain of supply of raw materials.
