Serano is a brand developed and owned by E. Neophytou Trading Co Ltd, a Cyprus-based family company established in 1974. Serano is currently engaged in the import, export, processing and trade of dried fruits and nuts, and is the local market leader with an overall market share of more than 67% in the Cyprus market. Serano's quality control tools start long before the nuts are processed. Our 46+ year industry experience and our strong relationship with international suppliers of raw materials, allows us to select and procure the right type of raw materials at the right point of time in order to keep the manufacturing process running at optimal efficiency. An extensive inspection of every single lot of incoming goods through the company's inhouse laboratory is considered standard procedure. All incoming lots are intensively tested and analyzed.

Accreditations & In-process records Serano is accredited with ISO 22000:2005, BRC for Food Safety (Food Safety Management Systems), and with ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System). In-process record keeping through the company’s quality assurance system, allows us to maintain a daily manufacturing log, giving us the capability to trace backward any lot, identify problem areas and make changes to prevent reoccurrence. This measure ensures that both qualitative and quantitative controls and goals are satisfied.
