About us:

We produce innovative quality bakery items for the convenience category. 

Our bakery unites the volume and efficiency of industrial baking with proud Danish traditions of craftsmanship, quality and professionalism. Our  production lines are designed to develop and make bakery items for a market undergoing constant change, and produce over 200 different products. 

Our production facilities are extremely flexible and can handle all types of bakery items and thaw & serve, bake-off and convenience products. This allows us to quickly translate market trends into innovative new products, which can update and supplement our customers' range and improve their business. 

The company was founded in 2000 in Kolding, Denmark, where our production and head office is still located. We now also have international production through partners. In April 2019 we became a part of the Orkla Family. Orkla Denmark

We sell our products in 16 countries to customers such as Starbucks, McDonald, CircleK, 7-eleven and COOP, and had revenue of EUR 47 million in 2021.

Sustainable Profile Easyfood A/S operates in an industry where there is a growing focus and demand from customers, politicians and NGOs concerning sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the documentation of such. Therefore, we support the work we started in 2014 with CSR and sustainability - it is entirely in line with Easyfood’s vision. Since 2014, Easyfood has prepared sustainability reports with targets and the mapping of the company’s environmental impact, working environment and social engagement. In the last three years, we have established a systematic and measurable initiative where Easyfood’s growth strategy goes hand in hand with the CSR strategy. CSR is to create value for our company. The function is therefore one of the levers of Easyfood’s 2023 growth strategy and it is driven by the company’s values and culture, which reflect the considerations for the employee’s well-being, customers, the environment, and the other relevant stakeholders. There will be a strong focus on embedding the results on Easyfood’s bottom line and brand. In 2018 and 2019, Easyfood has also completed a thorough analysis to highlight which topics are most important for Easyfood to work with. We did this for the benefit of our primary stakeholders, the world around us in general and for Easyfood itself. By mapping these factors, we ensure that we are working with relevant activities that create the most possible joint value creation. The analysis of our CSR focus points includes internal interviews with managers and employees, external knowledge collection, analyses of CSR trends in our industry and in general, internal knowledge and documents, laws, requirements, and norms. During the analysis process, we created a list of the CSR focus points that we will prioritise working on further. We call these focus points our ‘strategic reference points’.
