EMFI

EMFI SA was established in 1934,  as the first milk industry in Greece, under the name Hellenic Milk & Flour Industry

In 1936, it was the First Greek company to produce standardized ice-cream under the brand EVGA, milk, milk cream and yoghurt and in 1953, EVGA was the first in Greece to produce yogurt in a single-use plastic container and bottled milk with aluminum lid.

In 1988  the company joins the K. FILIPPOU group of companies.

1995 was the year that exports start for EVGA and  Launches the innovative product, 0% fat + 0% sugar Ice-cream winning the Sial D’Or award.

In 1997  it was Certified according to ISO 9001 and in 1999  the “Folie Croissants” company was aquired by the group.

In 2011 the marketing, supply, distribution and promotion sectors of Branded Ice Cream were transfered to UNILEVER.

2013 Gelati Menne Srl, an Italian artisanal ice cream producer,   joins the group.

2019 Hellenic Milk & Flour Industry SA, changes name to EMFI SA
