Equilibra Group
Equilibra Group was founded in 1987 in Turin (northwest of Italy) by Franco Bianco and Equilibra was the first food supplements brand marketed in the Italian drugstore and mass market. Later on, Equilibra Group entered the personal care/beauty market offering to consumers the food supplements and natural cosmetics synergic inside-outside action under the umbrella brand Equilibra.
Over the years Equilibra Group developed a wide product portfolio, 100% made in Italy, that under its 5 brands, Equilibra - Syrio - B-lift - Armores Natura – Perlabella, currently covers different positioning (affordable, selective, premium) with about 400 SKUs among natural/functional food supplements and cosmetics.
Equilibra Group in 2014 and 2015 has had the nomination of “National Champion” and partecipated, in delegation of Italy, to the European Business Award (www.businessawardseurope.com) that rewards the European enterprises that excel in innovation and best pratices.
Thanks to the results that Equilibra Group consolidated in the years, in 2018 the multinational Unilever acquired a share of the company and became Partner of Marco Bianco (founder’s son) who is currenty the CEO and shareholder of Equilibra Group.
In 2019:
•Equilibra confirmed its leadership in Italy in the market of natural cosmetic products based on Aloe Vera and in the food supplements market, with a market share of 42% in drugstore channel (source: Nielsen) and 19,1% share in the mass market channel (source: IRI)
•Syrio and B-lift confirmed its leadership in Italy in QVC TV-home shopping channel in the food-supplements category and body care cosmetics category
•Perlabella became leader in China in the direct sales channel for the anti-aging serums market in single dose pearls.
In 2020 Equilibra Group continues the international development selecting new Partners that will be part of its consolidated Distributors network. Currently our products are distributed in 16 Countries in which our exclusive Distributors/Partners market our brands according to the features of the single Country in the following channels: drugstore – pharmacy – TV-home shopping – direct sales – ecommerce.
