Fancy

Fancy is an online phone application enabling customers to order essential food and non-food products and receive their orders within 30 minutes. The company was established in the UK in 2019 by Arnie Englander and Jack Wilson. In 2020, the application launched officially. 

Gopuff, a US company involved in similar operations, acquired Fancy.

Fancy provides around 1000 references which are offered at supermarket prices. At present, Fancy operates in 6 cities across the UK. Fancy is available to both android and apple users.

Moreover,  Fancy is now working on expanding across Europe.

Products in the following categories are available:

• Savory Grocery: popcorn, crisps
• Chilled & Fresh Food: fruits, vegetables
• Frozen Food
• Drinks: wines
• Personal Care

Some of the brands available include Listerine, Barilla, sensations, Flash, etc.

Fancy imports products from countries like Italy and the USA.

For its deliveries, Fancy hires delivery persons who are known as riders. It operates its own micro-fulfilment centers.
