Feldhues Group

The art of meat product manufacturing has a long tradition within the Feldhues family, it goes far back into the 17th century. Today, the group operates through 6,000 m² of production space and focuses on the industrial manufacture of cooked character meats for kids with design in the actual meat slice. More than 100 highly qualified employees contribute to the success of the Feldhues Group by bringing along their professional experience and passion for their job. The uniquely precise production technology is a result of many years of dedication to in-house research and development activities.

At the IFFA exhibition in 1986, Feldhues presented "Billy", the first specific cooked character sausage for kids worldwide. The "smiling sausage" with a clown face in the actual meat slice sparked off a whole range of products that excel in the area of constant and clear visual quality.

With feldeco fun foods GmbH located in the town of Metelen in Westfalia, Germany, the group can count on a modern, state-of-the-art production site with exquisite facilities. Its sister company Feldhues GmbH Fleischwarenproduktion is based in the Republic of Ireland and mainly serves the Irish and British markets. The Irish site is additionally equipped with slicing and packaging lines for consumer pre-packs in diverse formats.

Through their unique in-house filling technology, the group can offer products that set the highest standards when it comes to pattern and shape definition. The quality of their finished product excels that of products manufactured with widely available, common extrusion technology. All manufacturing sites are obliged to produce under a strict quality control system. The diverse production areas have been certified to IFS and BRC standards.
