Fildas

Founded in 1991 by Anca Vlad, Fildas is a retailer and distributor of pharmaceutical products in the Romanian market. Its headquarters is based in Bucharest, Romania. The company first started its business through 5 private pharmacies and later affiliated itself with Catena. 

Presently, the business operates 900 pharmacies under the banner Catena nationally. Moreover, Fildas distributes its products to pharmacies, hospitals and other clients. 

In the financial year 2021, Fildas achieved a turnover of €2 billion reporting an increase by 8% as compared to the previous year. Currently, the firm employs more than 8,100 people nationwide. 

It is noteworthy that the enterprise gained the 5th place in Top 500 companies made by Forbes Romania in 2017. 

The company’s product portfolio consists of over 10,000 references in the Personal Care Category which are as follows: (non-exhaustive list):

Pertaining to its logistics solutions, Fildas operates 15 warehouses and has a transportation fleet of over 130 vans and 12 heavy trucks to manage its deliveries. 

With regards to sustainability, the company partners with local suppliers mainly in order to shorten the supply chain.
